Japanese Maples

With so many different sizes, colours and leaf shapes, it is difficult to describe a typical Japanese maple. Japanese maples are noted for their lacy, finely-cut leaves, brilliant fall colour with a delicate structure. For pots, courtyards, woodlands, Japanese light wells or anywhere a garden requires a small, delicate feature, Japanese Maples are the standout choice. Japanese maples come in all matter of shapes, sizes and colours. There are graceful weeping varieties with lace-like foliage. Varieties with deep burgundy foliage and others with luminous green. Some have broad leaves while others are small and cast dancing dapples of light.
